How to Bowl Correctly!

Releasing the ball

Everything you do is pointed toward releasing the ball properly. The ball is released at the start of the final upswing. At this point, your finishing foot, left for righthanderrs and right for lefthanders, has completed the slide and at that time the bowling arm begins the upward move. The wrist should be fairly straight at the point of release. The thumb leaves the ball first. The ball should be released over the foul line.
